Chicago Metropolis Junior Olympics Are BACK !

From its inception, the Junior Olympics has been hosted by SS. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Palos Hills, Illinois. The community not only organizes the event, but also shares its facilities with the entire Metropolis to make the Junior Olympics possible.

Olympic activities are offered for all age levels, with competition in basketball, swimming, track and field, softball, volleyball, soccer, chess, checkers, backgammon (tavli), ping-pong, & much more. The Junior Olympics aims to live its mission, which is rooted in St. Paul’s Second Letter to Timothy: “…If anyone competes as an athlete, they do not win the prize unless they compete according to the rules.
